Speech Reflection

I think that I got an average to a little above average score. I had plenty of information, however I am not entirely sure how great of a job I did on the presentation part. The two aspects I think I will need to improve on are feeling a little bit more comfortable up there, and my tone. I felt that I was able to remember and convey all of my thoughts to the audience while still talking very slowly and making eye contact. The only parts I felt did not go very well were in the delivery, as I said before I think the main problems are the two things I said I need to work on. I will just try and read a few articles on how to be more comfortable and maybe try and practice my speech more.

Introduction When opening up and maintaining a restaurant over a long period of time, there are numerous factors that the owner needs to take into account. There has been a substantial amount of studies done on this topic, and rightfully so. This is because “over a quarter of restaurants fail within their first year of operation” (Lu, Song, Dock 2014).
